Turner Heights Reviews
Our second visit to Turner Heights. Another fantastic ski holiday while staying
here. The townhouse had brand new carpet, sofas and arm chairs, they must have spent
up large making this already charming unit even better. As usual fantastic hospitality
from our hosts who have a wealth of information on the area. These people really
know how to help you maximise your time while in Queenstown.
Lovely romantic A frame 2 storeys! Views onto the lake! Your own car-port. You will
not be cold! (Electric balnky. warm towel holders) the reception is lovely. It is
an a small hill that is steep., for the average youngish dude no worries (50-) 5
mins max). Not a fancy resort, a cute cozy authentic place. Not good for average
business people or rowdy families- coulpes of all ages, GREAT! Close to neighbours
but attracts quiet people! Views to die for. Enjoy the lovely food of Queenstown!
Our 5 days in Queenstown were the highlight and our accommodation was fantastic.
Firstly, the location is perfect - it is a very quick walk into the town centre,
but away from the noise of main roads. Because it high on the hill, you look down
into the town and beyond to the fabulous lake and mountain views. The rooms are
spacious, extremely clean, nicely furnished and warm. We had a 2-bedroom, which
was great for 2 adults and 2 kids, tho there was an extra foam mattress and fold
out bed in the lounge. Bonus: the Sky TV, washing machine and dryer and a bathtub
(the only accommodation we had that had a tub) and a fantastic outdoor heated spa
for shared use - tho we never ran into anyone else. (Some of the units have their
own spa) Very invigorating running from the unit to the spa in your bathers in 2
degrees(!) - it was hot and steamy and a perfect way to wind down after a day on
the slopes. Staff were helpful and friendly, it was great value - everything about
the stay was perfect.
