Te Wanaka

Te Wanaka Lodge is a contemporary European-style ski lodge located in the heart of Wanaka. Owned and operated by a couple, whom are outdoor enthusiasts, the lodge is a fun and friendly place to stay. Te Wanaka is an easy walk to the shores of Lake Wanaka, the shopping and restaurants. Breakfast is served around a huge antique dining table and features a gourmet continental buffet with a daily changing cooked option. If you need a day off skiing, Wayne and Mandy can offer you a selection of outdoor activities for you to take part in (additional charges apply).

Te Wanaka Reviews

We found the place to be great. The property is easy to find as Wanaka is fairly small, well located within minutes of the lakeshore and its restaurants and bars. Outside in the garden area there is also a hot tub that can be booked for 30-minute slots and is out of site. The breakfast in the morning was cooked freshly as we helped ourselves to numerous cold items and was very good. We found the hosts to be very helpful in providing information. Great place.

Wanaka is a lovely, lovely town on the edges of the breathtaking Lake Wanaka. Te Wanaka Lodge is close by and a really nice place to stay and you feel that the hosts genuinely want you to have a great time. A lot of thought has clearly gone into this place to make it relaxing, from the comfy leather sofa to the wonderful wines on sale. Truly excellent wines available by the glass. Breakfast was great too and served by the charming Lynn.
