Heartland Hotel Queenstown Reviews
My boyfriend and I just returned from a nine-day trip of New Zealand. We spent five
days of the trip skiing at The Remarkables in Queenstown and while in Queenstown
we stayed at the Heartland Hotel. Our room had a double bed, a single bed, a balcony, a mini
fridge and Sky TV. It was very clean and we had a nice view of the lake. There were
also laundry facilities, which we used ($NZ 2 for the washer and $NZ 2 for the dryer).
I have no reservations recommending the Heartland Hotel to anyone. It would be good for families
and young couples or really anyone looking for a good deal.
We stayed in an apartment at this hotel. It was excellent. The amenities were very
good, the rooms very comfortable and the service great.
I didn't expect that: I was given a suite, almost as big as my home in Zurich. The
facilities in the suite were fantastic, seemed to be very new. It had everything:
a kitchen with oven, microwave and dishwasher, a washing machine and dryer. Very
comfortable bed, sofas, TV, stereo - I felt like home from the very first minute.
The hotel is situated very close to the town centre, and you get some coupons for
drinks in bars in the town. Queenstown itself is lovely, if you have time, go there
and stay in the Heartland Hotel.
