Christchurch Millennium Reviews
Stayed here for 4 nights and had an excellent experience. There doesn't seem to
be many options for 4 / 5 star hotels in Christchurch so took a punt on the Millennium.
The property whilst not overly luxurious was modern and well appointed. We had a
nice room on the 7th floor with a lovely aspect overlooking the Square and church.
We experienced no problems with noise from our room. The room itself was clean,
nicely furnished and spacious compared to other similar standard hotels we've been
in. The location is excellent for Christchurch being central and within walking
distance to the main mall, shopping and restaurant areas. The standout for us was
the service. All staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful from the moment we
arrived to thru to our check out. Top marks especially to the concierge and porter
staff who were absolutely fantastic, always smiling, friendly and helpful without
being stuffy or pretentious in any way which is a pleasant contrast to some other
properties we've stayed at. The bar service was fantastic too and casual dining
food + drinks served there spot on complimented by a pleasant, comfortable and casual
atmosphere
This is a prestigious city centre hotel. The room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable
bed and a massive bathroom. Our room had great views of Cathedral Square. Would
definitely stay here again.
