We were well pleased, a clean, classy large two bed apartment, two stories, well
equipped, old Town Hall building, centre of city, what else could you ask for. Pool
had no place to change, only quibble.
This was five-star luxury for our first two nights in New Zealand. The apartments
are centrally located in the Old Government Buildings and had a feeling of space.
Very comfortable and superbly equipped. Everything we needed and helpful staff.
Perfect place to start our holiday.
Our suite was in the old Government Heritage building and well appointed in keeping
with the building and with well-equipped kitchen, washing machine/dryer and space
for a 4 night stay. Central location at Cathedral Square. Reception on arrival welcoming
and housekeeping service excellent including chocolate on pillow at night! It's
the old part of hotel that has the architectural appeal and old world charm. Ate
in the hotel restaurant last night and enjoyed an excellent meal and efficient friendly
service. For a 4-night stay we found the 1 BR suite perfect as could make own breakfasts
and meal snacks as we pleased.
Excellent location to explore central Christchurch. rooms good sized and spacious.
Staff friendly and helpful. Stayed twice and got upgraded to exec suite!
