Lyn and Ross the Proprietors were very friendly and did everything to ensure that
we had a great stay. Lyn knew a great deal about the local area and assisted us
with directions and tips etc. The room was ultra modern and it was so clean it was
as if we were the first guests to ever sleep there. We had a very comfortable king
size bed and great leather chairs to sit back and relax in. It is on a "main road"
but we did not find the noise an issue. It is easy to walk in to the city centre
and they also offer left luggage facilities. There are restaurants nearby and also
delivery options for food, which are outlined in the compendium. We would strongly
recommend this hotel for business or pleasure.
We stayed here twice! At the beginning and also at the end of our honeymoon! The
couple that run this place are lovely and good for a chat and very helpful to provide
us with any information possible. We had a very nice room! The rooms were almost
brand new! We had a little kitchen area in it with utensils plus it had a nice Jacuzzi!!
I’m not sure what the bigger family rooms are like, but it was just perfect for
us newlyweds!
Room is clean, nice, very well-decorated, and bathroom has Jacuzzi :) Location is
pretty good, close to the park if you fancy a walk or a jog, and there're plenty
restaurants within walking distance. We walk to the downtown area and it took about
10 minutes top to reach the cathedral square.
